Katie has just moved out to the suburbs with her husband Patrick. She misses London, her friends, her life, and feels isolated and a little lonely. She finds solace in Andrew, her neighbour, who she develops feelings for – “Andrew loves Labradors, is obsessed with the sound of the rain, musicals and Jean-Claude Van Damme films…are you kidding me?! It’s like someone made a male version of me…”
When Andrew dies, Katie spirals. She’s unable to process her grief, which leads her to believe that a stray dog who turns up on their doorstep is the reincarnation of Andrew.

A hilarious, unorthodox love story set on the night shift at a petrol station.
Alex is desperate to find someone to share his life with, but too scared to do anything about it. A film-obsessive, he works the night shift at an isolated petrol station on the outskirts of a two-bit town. Awkward, and with no real friends to speak of, he confides in his only ‘colleague’ - a friendly-faced vacuum cleaner named Keith, whose voice only Alex can hear.
Ella is a cycling-mad woman of action, prepared for anything and curious about everything. One stormy night, by chance, their lives intersect. These two lonely souls are made for each other, even if they don’t know it. This is their story.

The Attendant tells the story of Alex, a hapless and hopeless romantic, who has worked the graveyard shift of an isolated petrol station for longer than he cares to remember. In the early hours, as Alex readies himself to embark on another flight of fancy, a customer appears who might just change his world forever.
The film toured the festival circuit and picked up a number of awards, most notably; The Directorial Discovery Award at Rhode Island International Film Festival (BAFTA accredited), Best Comedy at the European Short Film Festival and Best International Short at LA Comedy Festival.
The Attendant is distributed by Shorts International and is currently available to stream on both Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
